I agree with Robert A., the subs are fantastic but the customer service is horrible. I went in at 1:50pm (they close at 2:00pm on Sundays). As soon as I walked in I heard lead meat slicer say "Oh man". I thought to myself, you poor kid, so you will be 15 minutes late getting home to your mother's basement to play video games until dawn. 4 stars ONLY for the food which blows Subway away.

Most amazing sub sandwiches ever!!! The store unfortunately often looks dirty. Their employees can be unfriendly and seem annoyed that someone came into the store. I will say that the owner Mike has always been very nice and helpful when he is there.

Don't get me wrong, their subs are fantastic! However, their customer service is despicable. This has happened 3 times I have been in, each time they seem so disappointed to have business, or more or less a damn job. Over all I do like the place and want to see it succeed, I do think the owner needs to reevaluate his employees as they are rude, and need an attitude adjustment if they want to work in the restaurant industry.

I believe This establishment is in need of some TLC. I walked into the building today and couldn't help but chuckle - it looks as if the business owner got his franchise starter kit, unpacked the box, and opened his business after hanging a few ornaments with little or no regard to what the last tenant in his space had on the walls. I guessed the prior tenant was a daycare, and the person I was with guessed outdated dentist office - Ill never know. I wasn't going in for decor though - I was in need for a quick sandwich, and hopefully something better quality relative to a Subway. As I approached the sandwich preparation counter to order my sub, I couldn't help but notice the unsanitary environment. Unwrapped meats were lying around, the meat slicer was filthy, crumbs and meat derbies were everywhere - well, you get the picture. I actually felt a bit uneasy to even go through with my order. Luckily service was quick since it was a ghost town when I went I at around 1:00 - if I had to stand there and look at the situation for a long time, I'm sure it would have bothered me more. When I got the sandwich I ordered, it was about what you would expect given how things had gone thus far with lack of execution elsewhere in the restaurant. It was edible, but it wasn't great. Being highly unimpressed and having many other viable other lunch alternatives in the area, it's safe to say I won't be going back. The only reason I give it two stars is because the service was generally nice and the food was edible.

I absolutely love Sub Station 2! My husband and I first tried this place on a whim one 4th of July morning when we wanted a sub, but discovered Subway was closed (big shocker there!). After having this place one time, we were hooked! They toast the bread before putting the freshly sliced meat on it, so there's no soggy texture. And you can customize your sandwich, just like anywhere else! The prices are reasonable and quite frankly, you get a better "bang for your buck" here than at other shops. Just be aware, they only have one diet soda in the fountain machine, and it's caffeine free! (When I drank diet soda- this was a problem for me!) also, be sure to look over the menu before coming because its very large and very expansive!

They pack the sub full of fresh sliced meat, cheese and veggies. Great prices too. So good. Way better than subway

I love this place. The food is always consistently fresh. It is a clean and fun environment. Great for family dining with kids. Plenty of choices. Great color scheme. Bathrooms are always clean and stocked. Mike, the owner, is a great person to talk to. I will be a loyal customer for years to come!

These guys have great food. Try the Pretzel Bread. Their French Fries are also very good, too. Yummy. Also, they do catering and make a 6 foot sub sandwich that rocks and they did an order for me in a rush once.. and they took great care of me in a pinch.

Let's face the simple facts: If you're a sub place, then your craft really isn't that hard. Because of this, you should probably make efforts in other areas of your business. I was looking around the area for some Jimmy John's-esque eats, and a friend told me to stop in here since it was a bit more local, and I'm always more than down to support small biz. I guess the only way to put it is to say that I wasn't impressed. Since I was in a bit of a rush, I asked the girl what their closest sub to an Italian would be, and she pointed me in the direction of one on their menu. I added some toppings (they don't have anything overly interesting like sprouts), and got the bigger version. It was pretty expensive, and really wasn't that great. I always hate to write a review like this, because the place has potential since it is such a simple concept, but it really wasn't worth the money. I probably won't be back.

AWESOME FOOD!!!!! Fresh, tasty, and excellent. you can't beat it. The local schools use this place. They also cater. I have an auto repair shop and we get these 3 foot subs and they eat it all up in a matter of minutes. you won't regret it.

I love neighborhood joints. But, customer service here is about as reliable as a politician. I always feel cheated when I go there. I'm either cheated out of customer appreciation or I leave feeling unsatisfied in the over all taste.

Enjoy the healthy sandwich menu. My favorite is the "Super Special" on Italian bread. Great soups as well. You can fill up with a great value.

As a rather small Southeastern chain of sub shops, there are three locations in Kentucky, with this one in Ft. Wright and another in Florence, and none in Ohio. This location on Dixie Hwy. seems to do a brisk lunch business. It's in a small strip center with only a small parking lot. They serve sandwiches and salads, much like a Subway. I liked the turkey sandwich I ordered and the service was quick, even though the place was crowded.
